The of Head Coach Jeff Wood’s pre match Press Conference last night. Wood told the gathered media:
«This on paper does represent our best chance of getting a result and making an impact with our attacking play. However we are by no means underestimating Georgia. They are a very good team, well drilled and organised as they proved a couple of weeks ago when they beat Scotland.
We know we need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes and cut out the errors that lead to the goals we conceded against Poland.
Georgia are the favorites and rightly so. They will have to take the game by the scruff of the neck and get on the front foot in front of their home fans. This is something that they will not be used to and could work in our favour.
We must be patient and disciplined and give ourselves the chance to ensure that when we do get the ball we can continue to attack in the way we have done against Germany, Ireland and Poland where we showed we have the talent and ability to hurt teams at this level.»
